Hans Zimmer announces North American tour Critically acclaimed composer Hans Zimmer has announced a lengthy North American tour later in 2024 along with an 18-piece band and full orchestra. The month-long outing takes place in September/October making U.S. stops in Hollywood, Raleigh, New York, Baltimore, Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Fort Worth, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Then in 2025, the Oscar-winning producer will be heading over to Europe for additional performances. Zimmer recently released the score from Dune: Part Two on February 23rd, 2024. His soundtrack album from the original 2021 Dune film earned him his second Academy Award for Best Original Score. His first was received back in 1995 for The Lion King soundtrack which was certified Diamond by the RIAA and includes classic tracks like ‘Circle of Life’ and ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’. Since beginning his career in 1977, the German producer has also composed the scores from movies like ‘Gladiator’, ‘Inception’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Interstellar’.
